THE GRAPES OF WRATH

Based on John Steinbeck's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, this John Ford-directed classic chronicles the hardships of a family heading west to secure their future.  After their drought-ridden farm is seized by the bank, the Joad family - led by just-paroled son Tom (Henry Fonda) - heads California. Once there, however, the Joads soon realize that the promised land isn't quite what they'd hoped.
